✈️ I wasn’t ready

Edition 125.

I interrupt our regular news-byte format to share a little reminder: make moves before you feel ready.

But first, a little context.

This weekend, I booked a flight for a one-day round trip.

My boarding pass was missing the little TSA PreCheck thingy.

I gasped.

An airline I rarely fly?

Surely it’s a *them* problem.

But nope.

At 2 a.m., five hours before my flight, I learned this: my TSA PreCheck had expired.

↳ Kinda reminds me of that time I showed up for a flight to Australia without a visa.

The check-in counter processed my docs on demand, then personally escorted me through security and to my gate.

(Not allowed anymore, btw.)

↳ Or the time I arrived an hour before an international flight without checking in.

The agent noticed my birthday was the next day, pulled some strings, and off I went.

↳ And that other time I sprinted to an already-closed gate, wheezing, and asked if I could still board.

They let me through.

I have a history of being woefully unprepared, chronically late and blissfully unaware when it comes to travel 🫣

I book the trip. Press my luck.

And somehow, it all works out.

But unprepared in business?

A different story.

*OR IS IT?*

Suddenly, you feel like you need to have the plan.

The posts. The captions.

Everything figured out before you make a move.

So you consume, read, overthink.

You plan to the point of inaction, while the Internet tells you to “just post.”

“Yea, yea. Easier said than done,” you say.

But this week, I challenge you to start before you’re ready.

Don’t do the borderline-reckless travel stuff.

(0/10, do not recommend.)

But do:

✅ Send the email.

✅ Post the post.

✅ Feel the cringe. The worry. The doubt.

Then, move on.

The thing you did will be done. And that’s the point.

It might work out.

Then, do it again.

Build the muscle. Make the move. Create momentum.

(And send me a screenshot of what you post; I wanna see you in action!)

If making that move feels “I-wanna-do-this-but-I-can’t” levels of scary, I’m offering $147 OFF (that’s 26%) The Brand Power Hour when you use the code START.

→ Last call to make your move

Offer ends next Sunday, because I’ll probably be sprinting through another airport.

Who knows. Wish me luck!

The not Laughing Cow

Edition 123. 5 brand plays worth knowing: 🐄 The Laughing Cow just stopped laughing The (not) Laughing Cow) For the first time in 100+ years, The Laughing Cow wiped the laugh off its packaging. So far, I’ve found a mystery site (aptly named, The Not Laughing Cow), IRL shelf sightings and a CMO who says the cow will explain “when she’s ready.” I can’t make this up. We’re mid-brand tease, so I can’t judge much quite yet. But I’m keeping an eye on this smile-gone-serious brand activation. A...
